Senior Machine Learning Engineer
About
Combining the world of entertainment and data science can be something truly special: where else could you influence what gets broadcast on the most-watched TV station or what new content appears on Oneplay? We are the largest commercial TV network in Central Europe and video platform with largest number of subscribers in Czechia. We are now looking for someone to expand our AI/ML team and help us take AI in the company to the next level.
The Mission:
You are the engine of our predictive intelligence and pipeline reliability. You will build robust classification and regression models that drive our business, while also owning the MLOps and orchestration that keep our entire suite of models running flawlessly in production.
What will you do?
- Build, train, and deploy robust ML pipelines to solve business problems (e.g., churn, LTV, forecasting).
- Design and manage model orchestration and MLOps pipelines, ensuring that all team models are monitored, scalable, and reliably retrained.
- Operate end-to-end: rapidly hacking together a PoC, refining it into an MVP, and hardening it into a scalable production solution.
- Deliver your ML models as scalable APIs or as automated, structured data tables in our DWH.
- Champion engineering best practices by writing Desgin Doc, conducting peer code reviews, maintaining rigorous CI/CD standards across the ML lifecycle, and spreading AI assisted coding practices across team.
What do we require?
- Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark.
- Deep understanding of traditional ML algorithms and strong hands-on experience with MLOps and pipeline orchestration.
- Proven experience working within cloud data environments, specifically Databricks on Azure and/or AWS.
- A pragmatic problem-solver who moves fast. You can quickly whip up an MVP but possess the software engineering maturity to build resilient, automated systems.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) for deploying ML services.
- Experienced user of AI assited coding tools (GitHub Copilot / Claude Code / Codex / Cursor)
Why work in our ML team:
- We do truly innovative things in the online and linear media world (RecSys, causal inference, GenAI).
- We run projects with real business impact.
- Your opinion matters – you'll be part of the full development cycle.
- We enjoy what we do because our work is meaningful.
What we offer:
- Praticipation on AI/ML conferences (paid by a company),
- A pleasant work environment, a down-to-earth team, and good coffee.
- A hybrid work model.
- 5 weeks of vacation and 8 additional days off per year.
- Competitive salary and a generous benefits package.
