Combining the world of entertainment and data science can be something truly special: where else could you influence what gets broadcast on the most-watched TV station or what new content appears on Oneplay? We are the largest commercial TV network in Central Europe and video platform with largest number of subscribers in Czechia. We are now looking for someone to expand our AI/ML team and help us take AI in the company to the next level.

The Mission:

You are the brain behind our content personalization. Your mission is to connect our viewers with the exact content they want to watch by building SOTA Recommender Systems using advanced DL architectures.

What will you do?

• Build, train, and deploy complex machine and deep learning models—e.g. Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) and Transformers—to power our core Recommender Systems.
• Own the Deep Learning lifecycle end-to-end: rapidly moving from a theoretical task to a working PoC, scaling to an MVP, and delivering a production-ready solution.
• Deliver your recommendations as high-performance APIs or as optimized tables in DWH.
• Actively participate in shaping our engineering culture by writing Design Docs and conducting code reviews to uphold CI/CD and AI Assisted coding best practices
• Keep up with RecSys research, experimenting with new architectures to improve CTR, watch times.

What do we require?

• High proficiency in Python and PyTorch. Experience with PySpark, and containerization is a plus.
• Experience building complex Recommender Systems or working with advanced Deep Learning architectures (GNNs, Transformers, sequence modeling).
• Hands-on experience with Azure / AWS, utilizing Databricks for distributed training and data processing.
• A "hacker mindset" coupled with engineering discipline. You love getting a PoC up and running quickly, but you know how to wrap it in clean, tested, and reviewed code.
• Experience containerizing applications and orchestrating them in the cloud using Docker and Kubernetes.
