Data Scientist for media and streaming service

Combining the world of entertainment and data science can be something truly special: where else could you influence what gets broadcast on the most-watched TV station or what new content appears on Oneplay?

We are the largest commercial TV network in Central Europe and have also built a video platform with over 500,000 subscribers. We are now looking for someone to expand our AI team and help us take AI in the company to the next level.

Why work in our AI team:

  • We do truly innovative things (sometimes even world firsts)
  • We run projects with real business impact
  • No corporate bureaucracy, we have a flat organizational structure
  • Your opinion matters – you'll be part of the full development cycle, not just a cog in the machine
  • We enjoy what we do because our work is meaningful

What you will do:

  • Build end-to-end MLOps pipelines – from data preparation and analysis, to predictive modelling, testing, and deploying models to production
  • Work on cloud platforms like Azure Databricks and GCP
  • Solve real data science problems in cooperation with business stakeholders and the data engineering team
  • Bring in new ideas, invent new functionalities, and push ML products forward
  • Mentor junior colleagues and learn from senior team members

What we offer:

  • A pleasant work environment, a down-to-earth team, and good coffee
  • A hybrid work model
  • 5 weeks of vacation and 8 additional days off per year
  • Competitive salary and a generous benefits package

Who we’re looking for:

  • You can work with big data (we use Azure Databricks and BigQuery)
  • You write clean and readable code (we use Python, PySpark, and SQL)
  • You can explain how gradient descent works or how boosting differs from bagging
  • You think both analytically and creatively
  • You can communicate in English
  • You have a university degree and/or relevant professional experience

We’ll appreciate:

  • Your GitHub repository, hackathon experience, etc.
  • If terms like OOP, SOLID, ETL, Feature Store mean something to you
  • Examples of real-world projects
  • Hands-on experience with cloud, big data, and ML
